Cannabis & Tech Today: What does winning the 2024 Innovation Award mean to your company?

CCELL: At CCELL, we’re dedicated to advancing the future of cannabis vaporization. Each year, we invest over 15% of our total revenue into R&D, driving continuous product improvements and pioneering new technological innovations to empower the industry. To win a CannaTech Innovation Award solidifies that we are on the right path and that consumers and clients alike will benefit from the efforts we’re putting behind our product development.

C&T Today: What inspired your team to develop Rosin Bar, and how does it reflect the core values of your company?

CCELL: As part of CCELL’s efforts to build a more diverse line of all-in-one devices to meet the needs of various cannabis oil brands, the Rosin Bar was built to be fully compatible with rosin and bring out the best from all solventless extracts. Traditionally, extracts’ THC and terpenes are heated at the same temperature within the same space, which can lead to unsatisfactory flavors. Lowering the voltage may preserve flavors, but can reduce vapor production. The Rosin Bar atomizes both cannabinoids and terpenes at optimal temperatures in separate areas powered by multi-level heating distribution. This new structure allows for true-to-plant flavors with robust clouds, guaranteeing top-tier performance from your rosin. For brands specializing in solventless extracts, the Rosin Bar is a game changer.

C&T Today: What has the past year been like for your business, and how has Rosin Bar contributed to your growth or success?

With numerous new tech launches, significant growth to our sales team, and an increased focus on client support, 2024 was an incredible year for CCELL. We directed a ton of energy into showing up for the cannabis community, and the Rosin Bar is a perfect example of that. The product came to life based on the needs of our clients and their consumers looking for the best medium to deliver the world’s best solventless hash oils. Until Rosin Bar, there wasn’t an AIO (all-in-one device) on the market that could tackle true terp preservation while still providing serious clouds of vapor that every hash head is after. That said, the Rosin Bar has driven our growth exponentially by filling a critical gap in the market, strengthening client relationships, boosting units sold, and solidifying CCELL’s reputation for innovation and quality in the cannabis industry.

C&T Today: What do you think it takes to be an award-winning brand or product in the cannabis industry today?

CCELL: Not only does it take a commitment to innovation and the proper resources to create an award-winning product, but also the ability to listen to the needs of the industry to develop better products. The Rosin Bar was born when Nasha Hash needed a 100% rosin-ready solution that would deliver a consistent experience to their customers without compromising the quality of their live rosin, and we worked closely with them to bring that solution to life.

C&T Today: How do you see your product impacting the cannabis industry in the next few years?

CCELL: The Rosin Bar is an unmatched AIO vaporization platform for solventless oils due to its groundbreaking HeRo heating element. This atomizer is different from CCELL’s conventional cores and is purpose-built for rosin, providing an unparalleled experience that highlights the full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes without the risk of burnt flavors or clogging. The device’s unique ability to deliver the perfect solventless experience in such an accessible format truly sets it apart from other AIOs on the market. The Rosin Bar is already making waves by boosting access to quality solventless oil for consumers across the vape sector of the cannabis industry. C&T Today: If you could give one piece of advice to other innovators in the cannabis space, what would it be?

CCELL: Since we’re limited to just one piece of advice, we’d say that expanding and perfecting the consumer experience should be the main goal of every innovator in the cannabis space. Whether you’re refining existing consumption methods or introducing something entirely new, cannabis was made to be enjoyed. Its magic lies in the unique and varied experiences it offers to everyone. Every innovation should strive to elevate these experiences, making the plant more accessible, enjoyable, and memorable for all.

C&T Today: What’s next for your company? Are there any exciting developments or goals you’re working toward in 2025 and beyond?

CCELL: We are looking forward to continuing the rollout of our new CCELL 3.0 technology which launched at MJBizCon in late 2024. CCELL 3.0 Bio-Heating Solution is the world’s premier ultra-low temperature heating solution, its biomimetic design improves terpene preservation for a wider range of flavors while providing maximum oil utilization and reducing leaks and clogs in larger capacity postless tank devices. CCELL 3.0 will be introduced in our new postless GemBox, GemBar, and MixJoy (dual-tank) All-In-One devices as well as the Vita and Diama 1-2ml 510 cartridges, built for all oil types at higher capacities.
