Cannabis Brand Profile: Eden Rose Dispensary by Shannon Gammon
As a customer of medical marijuana, I have shopped around the Oklahoma City metro area visiting many different dispensaries. I have found at Eden Rose that Owner Shaun Branch and his team carry the best selection of different edibles in type and dosage. The employees know their product on an expert level. The flower has a great selection also, varied by tiers with excellent prices store wide.
I briefly spoke with Branch to discuss Eden Rose’s process, benefits and other industry essentials.
Shannon Gammon: How long have you been in the industry?
Shaun Branch: I have been in the industry personally for 20 years.
SG: Explain your process and how it makes it better than the competition?
SB: We do small batches and everything by hand. Every craft process we make our edibles in very small batches and we produce extracts at a longer time frame than most of our competitors, which preserves terpenes. We do not grow though.
SG: What are the benefits of your process to the customer?
SB: The benefit to our process is that it’s not just mass produced in a factory and then sold to someone else. It’s sold to ourselves and we have to give it directly to the customer so we get direct feedback and make our products better based on that.
SG: Anything else you would like to add about your process and business?
SB: Testing is important, maybe not as much for the THC in cannabinoids, which is always off, but the metals that can be in weed in the pesticides. Those are very dangerous to the public and most of the stuff on the streets is bad for your health. I try all of our own products before they hit the shelf. I want to make sure if anything happens it happens to me first. We get everything tested, I go to the grows to make sure that they are using proper soil and nutrition. I make sure there is no mold, no excessive heating in the curing process. We are very picky
