‘I Got Marijuana Legal In Ohio’ Says Rapper Afroman Toasting Fellow Ohioans With Pink And Gold Goblet
Grammy-nominated rapper Afroman — an Ohio native known for his hit “Because I Got High” — celebrated the legalization of recreational marijuana in a fun social media video in which he takes credit for getting weed legal in the Buckeye state.
In the five-minute clip, reported by NBC4, Afroman, whose real name is Joseph Foreman, raised a large pink and gold goblet, greeting his fellow Ohioans with a hearty “You’re welcome,” as he toasted the new law.
“I got marijuana legal in Ohio,” Afroman said. “I want to thank all the people that supported and stayed down like four flat tires.”
