Trulieve Expands Amidst Battle To Legalize Weed
As support to legalize recreational cannabis is growing in Florida, medical cannabis giant Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (CSE:TRUL) (OTCQX:TCNNF) continues to ramp up its retail footprint.
On Monday, July 1, the company opened two new shops selling medical marijuana in Madison and Panama City. The grand opening celebrations at both locations are scheduled for Friday, July 5.
Trulieve Madison, located at 456 W Base St., and Trulieve Panama City, located at 1020 E 23rd St., will be offering walk-in and express pickup service.
The Tallahassee also plans to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 5679 S Suncoast Blvd store in Homosassa the same day.
“We are thrilled to offer patients in these communities new, convenient locations where they can rely on Trulieve’s high-quality products and outstanding customer service,” Kim Rivers, the company’s CEO, said in a press release.
The company added the information about the #YesOn3 ballot initiative for adult use will be available. Trulieve has reportedly spent more than $40 million to get Smart & Safe Florida‘s marijuana legalization measure on this year’s ballot.
