Fifteen Indicted on Cannabis Burglary Ring Charges in Portland, Oregon

Officials have indicted 15 suspects who are accused of being involved with a Portland, Oregon, burglary ring that allegedly targeted 17 cannabis businesses between February and November 2025, KPTV reports.

Prosecutors say that the alleged burglars would crash stolen vehicles into the businesses to gain access to the sites, which included both retailers and warehouses in the Portland metro area. Prosecutors identified only two of the suspects this week: Anthony Lunetta, the presumed ringleader, and Michael Kessler, who allegedly supplied the stolen cars.

The affected businesses have not been publicly identified, and the Portland Police Bureau says the investigation is ongoing, according to the report.

“This was a highly organized group,” District Attorney Nathan Vasquez said in a press conference this week.

“When you attack our community, you’re going to be brought to justice. When you attack these businesses, we’re going to be prosecuting you and you are going to prison.” — Vasquez, via KPTV
